Atlantic Shed Terms

Important information,

At Atlantic Shed we take pride in providing our customers with quality and affordability. We ask for a 1/3 deposit to hold the date for your installation and to acquire the materials in advance to construct your building. On larger building we ask for another 1/3 payment when the roof is completed. Once your building is has been totally completed, we expect to get paid fully in cash or by check the same day.

Atlantic Shed reserves the right, under extreme circumstances, to use materials of equal or better quality in construction of our products.

Order If you must change or postpone your order we require 5 days notice or charges will apply. If we are unable to build your building due to a unprepared site, a reschedule fee of 15% will be charged for our crew to return and construct your building once conditions are met.

Permits Please check with your local building department regarding permit requirements, set backs and other regulations that may apply. Permits are the responsibility of the purchaser. We build the shed to your specifications only and can not be held responsible or incur delays due to any local regulations.

Payment Is due in full the day your building is completed. We accept cash and checks. Credit card payments may also be made but must be arranged in advance, we use PayPal for all credit card payments. A 1.2% processing fee applies.

NO SALES TAX!

Because we build on site as a contractor you save money by not having to pay sales tax. We build your shed right on your property (to suit your specific needs). So you save hundreds of dollars over the pre-built competitors models.

Delivery We require that somebody must be home on the day construction begins to ensure proper placement of shed, and to provide access to power for construction. We carry 150 feet of power cable, if distance to power is over 150' a generator fee may apply. Delivery charges may apply in some areas.

Shed Location We ask that you properly prepare the site location on which the shed is to be built. A flat spot should be chosen, if you have any question regarding a flat spot please call for a free site inspection. We recommend that the homeowner stake out the shed in its exact location. Use stakes in all corners and string to connect all the stakes together to enable you fully visualize the shed as it will be installed, and to see if there are any obstructions, such as septic tanks, trees, shrubs, large boulders, fences, etc.... and miscellaneous items need to be removed before we arrive to build the building.

Access Please notify us in advance if the site you have chosen is not accessible by truck, or is in excess of a 50' distance. Sheds are built on location for your convenience. Additional charges may apply

All sheds are built on site, unstained, unpainted, in natural wood. The purchaser should finish the building after construction, to preserve the wood from the elements and prevent premature movement and subsequent product failure. As an additional option, we would be happy to paint or stain your building for you. This would require an addition trip or two as new wood soaks up the finish and will need a few coats.

Warranty:

Atlantic Shed provides you with, a five year structural guarantee against defective materials and workmanship. Damage by accident, neglect, or natural disaster is not included in this guarantee. The warranty period begins upon completion of construction

Safety:

We believe in safety first and curiosity may be a hazard. We want to make sure your family and pets are safe at all times. In order for us to focus on constructing your shed safely, we must ask that you, your children and pets are kept a safe distance away until the time that we "turn the keys over to you."

Minimum Out of Area Delivery Charge $100.00
Delivery is calculated at $1.50 Per Mile / Round Trip Mile. (* Inside 100 Miles Only *)
